I lost my father to suicide in 2007. He had a beautiful, creative soul but was too shy to share his music. I was lucky to hear a few chords and read his lyrics. I later joined a band and even wrote a song for him called Mercy, which inspired this butterfly’s name. It will always remind me of him and the urge to create.
