Bobby and I met in 2017 and he became chosen family. His best friend Danny, an artist and poet, passed in his sleep in 2024. His poem “Little Bird” stays with us. Bobby helped me leave a violent marriage, even while grieving. This butterfly is a reminder that he is loved, and he can sing his song.
