The Butterfly Project began with a 4x4 spin painting I created in the back of a rental car — parked on the side of a highway during my 100-day Live at 5 stream.

That painting was bought by a man in Germany. A year later, he died unexpectedly. His 7-year-old daughter reached out. She remembered the gift, and asked if I could create a butterfly to place on his grave. That moment changed something in me.

Grief met color. Loss met creation. And the Butterfly Project took flight.

What started as one turned into two… (Butterfly Project: Phase Zero)
Then fifty. (Butterfly Project: Phase One)

Each butterfly is unique, handmade, and not for sale. They’re part of a gifting initiative — created with intention, and offered freely. The only condition: the recipient must name their butterfly.

Some have honored loved ones lost.
Others carry joy, hope, transformation, or dreams.
Each name is a whisper, a wish, a way forward.

This is just the beginning.
